Rainbow Delegation

Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of the Rainbow Delegation! All of you who wear your wristbands are truly helping to change the world. Matt Mazzei, founder of the Rainbow Delegation, has recorded a video that explains where we are in our efforts and where we are going from here. Please take a few moments to watch it and share it on your wall and with any friends that have a wristband or may be interested in getting one.

If you are wishing to record a video for our newest campaign (see attached video), please make sure to label and tag “Rainbow Delegation” in the Youtube video details. If you have friends/family members that are also a part of this movement, please feel free to record a video all together. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Do not forget to “like” our Facebook Fan Page at www.Facebook.com/TheRainbowDelegation

On a side note: If your wristband has broken, or become lost, or has been given away, do not hesitate to request a replacement at www.RainbowDelegation.org. The entire point of the wristband is to be worn and to be seen. If there is a wrist that is without one, we’d very much like to add some color to it!

Beautiful!

My girlfriend and I are two people you may consider very proud of who we are. We are not ashamed of the love we share. We don’t care what others have to say. We feel free to express and it feels great to be able to do so.
We wear our wristbands and we paint our faces to show our pride, and our support for the colors we stand for and for everyone who shares the same advocacy as us.
EQUALITY. JUSTICE. FREEDOM. LOVE. PRIDE.

The Rainbow Delegation gets one step closer to a wristband on Lady Gaga’s wrist! Thank you Jenna for wearing your wristband!
justjennna:

Security: “One at a time, please. Everyone will get their chance.” Monsters: “Jenna, go. It’s your turn!” I just stood there, I couldn’t move, making eye contact with her. She reached her arm out of the car and grabbed my hand. Gaga: “C’mere, honey.” She said while smiling. Me: “H-hi Gaga.” I saw my camera being raised so I put my paw up (an automatic reaction) and Gaga saw I did that so she followed, and put her paw up too. After the picture was taken, I turned back to her. Me: “Gaga… We’ve chased you around this city all weekend.” She giggled and shook her head slightly. Me: “I love you so much Gaga, you’re my everything.” Her: “I love you too, sweetie.” She said while she gave me the biggest hug I’ve ever gotten. Oh, and she smelled really good.

The Rainbow Delegation featured on ABC30 Action News!

If you are in the Central California area, or would like to buy yourself a ridiculously expensive plane flight, then come to “Celebrating Local Heroes” on May 11th. I will be speaking at this event and there will be a Q&A. I may even have a few wristbands with me to give out ;)

Everyone deserves to be loved and accepted
A rainbow colored wristband is our statement of the acceptance and support of that idea.
The rainbow delegation is a rapidly growing movement. Our main goal is to demonstrate our support for the LGBTQ community. Our group is diverse, encompassing people of all ages, races, and sexual orientations. The rainbow wristband is a subtle, yet powerful and recognizable symbol of support for the LGBTQ community. It’s a simple and effective means of displaying acceptance of ALL people. We wear these wristbands, not for fashion, nor as a fund-raiser for any particular agenda, but rather simply to be seen. Not just by the youth desperately needing to feel they belong, but also as a statement to all those people that would rather they didn’t.http://rainbowdelegation.org/
